personable self-starter in a fast paced working environment
after scouring the appropriate places on the intnernet the past few hours for a job, i feel disgruntled. i now know why derflinger was so irritable whenever we spoke these past few months. he finally found a job as a game tester, which, in my opinion, suits him.
i picked him up from work one day. i found him walking down great america parkway and not in the strip mall with the togos as we had agreed. i was feeling annoyed with him but when i dropped him off and saw his car parked by the side of the road with one tire pathetically deflated, i was glad to have helped.
we had tea and i noticed that the sides of his face were scratched. his fiancee, an educated young vegan from maryland was working at…papa john’s. he showed me inside the house where they were renting a room from a british woman who imposes “quiet time” after 11pm. the future mrs. derflinger locked herself in the bathroom when she saw me in the doorway.
